Dr. Boris Shapiro, DPT, is a graduate of Syracuse University and has been practicing physical therapy for over twenty-five years. He is licensed in both New York and Florida. He is particularly interested and specializes in the rehabilitation of orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
He has extensive clinical experience in an outpatient setting and is an expert in the treatment of adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), having done extensive research on tendon pathologies. His expertise includes pilate’s based rehabilitation exercises, therapeutic exercises, fitness, strength training for the general public and athletes, and manual techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and manual stretching.
Dr. Shapiro lives and works in Miami Beach, FL. He has owned and operated BOSH Physical Therapy in Miami Beach for twenty years. When he’s not working with patients his hobbies include martial arts, working out, biking, and walking along the beach with his wife.
