Where can I park for my appointments?

The most convenient is the parking garage located on the corner on 16th street and Drexel Avenue.  The entrance to the garage is on 16th street between Drexel Avenue and Washington Avenue. Currently, the rates are $2 per hour.  The garage rates can change without notice, therefore, please check the rates when entering the garage. Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a physical therapist?

Thanks to the advocacy of the FPTA and APTA, Florida is a “direct access state.” This means you are allowed to go directly to a physical therapist without a physician’s referral first and receive treatment for 30 days.

Do I continue sessions even after I feel better?

Yes, once you have completed your therapy sessions, your therapist will review your continuing home program. We can make arrangements to meet you at your gym to work with you on determining what equipment may be beneficial, and what exercises would be helpful in your continued recovery.
